Teaching Practice

This surgery is a teaching practice in conjunction with Keele University. This will involve medical students being attached to our practice on certain days of the week. The doctors will undertake training and supervision of the students, which will involve the students studying certain cases, observing and undertaking consultations as well as visiting patients at home. During these times all patients will be informed and asked for consent in line with the Data Protection Act.

Health Visitors

A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.
