Teaching

This surgery is a teaching practice in conjunction with Keele University.

This will involve medical students being attached to our practice on certain days of the week. The doctors will undertake training and supervision of the students, which will involve the students studying certain cases, observing and undertaking consultations as well as visiting patients at home.

During these times all patients will be informed and asked for consent in line with the Data Protection Act.

Referrals

If your doctor has referred you to see a specialist in the hospital, the necessary paperwork will be ready for collection from reception in 1 week.

It is important that this is collected, as without it you will not be able to make your specialist appointment.
